FAQ

Is the material 100% cotton?

Yes.  All products on this page is 100% cotton.  They are not manufactured with any synthetic fibers at all.  

Can I dye this cord?

Yes, cord cotton can be dyed.  The results will depend on the quality of the dye that is used.  In general, it is an easy material to dye and will hold color well.  

Will these cords work well for hanging plants?

Yes.  Many of our customers use 6mm cotton rope for hanging plant pots.  

Will it hold a knot well?

Yes.  It is easy to handle and make knots. Cotton twines are the most commonly used material in macrame which is a popular handicraft involving knotting and twisting cords around each other to create decorative items.
