Lifting Rope FAQ

What is the strongest option available?

Polysteel is able to lift the greatest loads.  The 40mm option has a breakload of 23 tonnes.  Use the filter called ‘breakload’ at the top of this page to select the exact breakload you require.

Can I use a winch with these ropes?

It is recommended to select a material with a smooth finish if you intend to use it with a winch.  Smooth material will cause less friction making it easier to slip and glide through the winch mechanism.
