Would 32mm be suitable for a garden tyre swing?
Yes.  The lowest breaking load of the 32mm ropes is 6 tonnes.  The most popular swing options include synthetic hemp rope or staple spun.

Would it be good for cats to climb?
In general the thicker the easier it will be for cats to climb.  Customers have used 32mm rope to create cat climbing toys but if you would like a thicker diameter please see 36mm, 40mm and 60mm diameter categories.

The most popular materials for cats include natural fiber ropes such as Sisal and Manila or Synthetic Hemp Rope which is made to look and feel like a natural fiber.
